The Malta Girl Guides and The Scout Association of Malta are preparing to host a landmark international event that will bring together volunteers from across Europe’s Scouting and Guiding movements. The International Commissioners’ Forum 2024, co-organised by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) and the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM), is scheduled to take place from Thursday 5th December to Sunday 8th December 2024, promising a weekend of collaboration and strategic discussions about the future of youth organizations.
The forum will convene 154 international participants from across Europe, representing an opportunity for Scouting and Guiding volunteers to network, share insights and develop strategies that will shape youth engagement and leadership development across the continent. Over 30 local volunteers are actively preparing to ensure a smooth and successful event, highlighting Malta’s commitment to hosting this significant international gathering.
Media representatives are welcomed to join this occasion on Thursday, and will have the chance to attend the opening ceremony, as well as interview opportunities.
