Malta Girl Guides Receives the Buonamico Special Recognition Award

In a ceremony last Friday, Malta Girl Guides was honored with the Buonamico Special Recognition Award from the Environment and Resources Authority. This award reflects the MGG’s dedication to environmental causes and its efforts to create a greener and more sustainable world.

At the heart of this achievement is the dedication of every member who has played a vital role in making a positive impact on the environment. This Award serves as recognition for our collective efforts, highlighting the work towards a shared vision of a more sustainable and eco-friendly future.

Embedded within MGGs’ eight-point program is a special emphasis on the environment. The environmental component focuses on various aspects, including feeling part of the natural environment, understanding global environmental issues, influencing others through positive actions, promoting fitness through nature, using nature for inner peace and rest, and developing exemplary behaviour by leading an environmentally friendly life.

This achievement inspires all our members committed to environmental causes. MGG encourages everyone to continue the journey towards a sustainable and eco-friendly future, as this Award celebrates MGG not just as an Association but as individuals contributing to its success.
