World Centres and Regions

Guiding Around the World

WAGGGS connects its Member Organisations through five Regions: Africa, Arab, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Western Hemisphere.

Malta Girl Guides forms part of the Europe Region, connecting us with Guiding and Girl Scouting organisations across Europe and beyond.

WAGGGS World Centres

Girl Guides and Girl Scouts also have the opportunity to visit WAGGGS’ five World Centres. These special places bring members from around the world together for friendship, adventure, learning and international experiences.

The World Centres are Our Chalet in Switzerland, Pax Lodge in the United Kingdom, Sangam in India, Nuestra Cabaña in Mexico and Kusafiri, which travels across Africa.

Visiting a World Centre gives members the opportunity to experience international Guiding first-hand, meet Guides and Girl Scouts from other countries, and create friendships and memories that can last a lifetime.
