National Teams
Camp Team
The Camp Team supports safe, enjoyable and high-quality camping experiences across Malta Girl Guides. The team oversees the camp qualification process, including the assessment of members working towards Camper and Quarter Master licences and campfire qualifications, while helping ensure that the required standards and procedures are followed.
International Team
The International Team supports the International Commissioner in connecting Malta Girl Guides with the wider world of Guiding. The team promotes WAGGGS opportunities and international events, supports members preparing to take part in experiences abroad and helps strengthen MGG’s links with WAGGGS and other Girl Guide and Girl Scout organisations around the world.
Programme Team
The Programme Team supports the Programme Commissioner in developing and strengthening the educational programme offered across Malta Girl Guides. The team helps create and review programmes and badge curricula, shares ideas and resources with leaders, and supports and mentors those delivering the programme so that girls and young women continue to enjoy a relevant, engaging and high-quality Guiding experience.
Stop the Violence Team
The Stop the Violence Team leads Malta Girl Guides’ work as part of WAGGGS’ global campaign to end violence against girls and women. Through education, training, advocacy, awareness-raising and community initiatives, the team empowers girls, young women and Adult Volunteers to recognise, prevent and speak out against gender-based and domestic violence, helping to build safer and more respectful communities.
Training Team
The Training Team supports the Training Commissioner in providing learning and development opportunities for MGG’s young women and Adult Volunteers. Through training courses, leadership development and ongoing support, the team helps volunteers build the knowledge, confidence and skills they need to grow in their roles and deliver quality Guiding experiences.
Visibility Team
The Visibility Team looks after the Malta Girl Guides brand and supports the Association’s internal and external communications. From branding and promotional material to digital communications, media and public relations, the team helps ensure that MGG is represented consistently, positively and safely across all platforms.
Youth Committee
The Youth Committee ensures that the voices of young members are heard and represented at a national level. It gives young people the opportunity to discuss issues that matter to them, contribute recommendations to Malta Girl Guides, advocate on youth-related matters and help shape the future of the Association, while also encouraging greater youth participation and leadership.
